about

The Slugs were founded in 1983 by Gregg Juhlin, Dag Juhlin, and Mike Halston. Former band sound engineer, Johnny L., was recruited into the band in 1990. The Slugs released singles in 1986, and 1987 followed by their debut album, "Non-Stop Holiday" in 1988. They covered "Hooked On A Feeling" on Pravda's tribute to K-Tel records, "20 Explosive Dynamic Super Smash Hit Explosions" in 1991. They released their second record, "Fort Fun" in 1992. In 2000, The Slugs released their last record "Junior" on Pravda Records.
